Don’t understand the shock sermon title ‘ tHERE ARE mOTHER#*%*ING SNAKES IN MY mOTHER3858ING CHURCH ??? tO ME THIS IS JUST AN ATTENTION GRABBER and I am sure your mother would be proud of this garbage !!! ( sic )
This was fantastic Vince. Again, whenever I listen to you or Jay or Pete I am reminded that I am not alone, and there are people out there that see God the way I do, and are trying to loose their religion in order to find the resurrected Christ.
I am thinking a lot about the reframing of John 3:16. Think I’ll use that if you don’t mind
I think the scripture listed was supposed to be Numbers 21 (not 29). We read this today in church and I picked up on the same thing that Vince mentioned: “There is no bread! There is no water! And we detest this miserable food!” What a bunch of whiners . . . just like all of us.
Oh dear, not another attempt at making that zombie relevant-again?
Sheesh…
Thanks for the comments everyone. Larry, I struggled with this title, and it wasn’t intended to be a an attention grabber, but rather a borrowed pop culture reference that I felt summed up the point of the sermon with the emotional power I was looking for. And my mother quite enjoyed it.
