Pastor Jay Bakker will be in North Carolina speaking out against Amendment One, which according to the ballot in North Carolina is a “constitutional amendment to provide that marriage between one man and one woman is the only domestic legal union that shall be valid or recognized in this State.” The detriment this will have on the civil rights of all families in NC is staggering. Pastor Jay told me he thinks Jesus was ignorant of our modern conception of marriage.
I found that rather interesting.
