Hey Jay there are many things I would like to comment on but one is on the Jesus Atheist comment you made. I am no preacher, but what I can say about Jesus stating God forsaking Him is that it shows us that Jesus was fully God but yet also fully man. In Jesus saying that God forsook him is the human side coming out. It is not something we need to fully understand or else God would have allowed us to fully understand this. Another example is the Trinity. Also it is suggested that when God forsook Jesus at that moment it was because all of the sin of every person to ever live from the past, present, and future was all laid upon Jesus at that very moment. God cannot take part in sin as we all know since it is against the very nature of who he is. We learn in the Bible Romans 6:23 “the wages of sin is death”. We see how serious sin is to God and he does not take it lightly. I believe this is a way of showing how God cannot take part in sin at all so when His Son took on the sin of the world he could literally do nothing but turn from Him as it was happening. Hope to get an email from you back. God Bless
