Paul Tillich said that “Love does not seek to abolish death. Rather, dares to accept death into its own bosom. Love willingly enters the grave and witnesses its power of resurrection.”
We here at Revolution NYC look to practice this kind of love. A love that dares not to deny the death in our lives and others, but has the courage to go into the tomb and look for resurrection.
This is the gift of Grace. The gift that God meets us where we are. We might be dying spiritually. God meets us there. We might see life anew. God meets us there.
Where God is, this is where we want to be. Ministering God’s Grace and Love to all people. Affirming life as something sacred. Helping people through the valleys and the mountains. This is how we participate in Christ’s resurrection.
Help us continue to do this work of going into the tombs, looking for, and encouraging life, abundantly. To make a tax-deductible donation, click here.
