Jay, Vince, Renee and the rest of the good people who come to Pete’s Candy Store are real–in person and in faith. Very rare do you get to meet folks from far away that you admire; rarer when they are genuine in person as well too. Love the book, loved the service, and my fiance wants to come to a service so badly we may make a special trip to NYC so she can experience it herself. I think when I told her some of the folks wore tatoos her heart skipped a beat.
Thank you all so much for everything and look forward to chatting and sharing with you again. You made this Buckeye transplant (NY born, Ohio raised) feel at home in Brooklyn. God bless folks!
Holle,
I Just discovered Revolution church via podcast and love, love, love it. I happened to catch the Tammy Faye documentary: Through the Eyes of Tammy Faye and had no clue what the real story was behind this family. So glad i watched it or i wouldnt have done more research and found this church. Amazing story, family and outcome. You guys (everyone at Revolution) bring SO much hope and happiness to my heart. I cannot wait to one day pop by and see this live. Thank you again for devoting your lives to do this for the benefit of people like me.
All the best,
Kevin 32 Massachusetts
Just as Paul told Timothy not to let anyone “despise” his youth (1Timothy 4:12), I’m hoping y’all won’t look down on my LACK of youth! I’m 54, just discovered you guys, and am popping a check in the mail today before even doing “due diligence.” If it turns out I’m wrong about you guys, well, I’ve wasted bigger money in worse ways! But I don’t think I am wrong. 2012 is going to be a hoot!
More and more I see people opening their ears and hearts to Gods voice of inclusion. Thank you for inspiring and fighting the right fight!
Jason J.
