I’ve been thinking about this sermon since Sunday. Here’s my take on Hell (and Heaven). I believe it’s all about the heart. Not the physical heart but the “heart”. The “heart” is really the soul or spirit. I believe only God can know what is in someone’s heart. I think all of us are born with a preset amount of good and bad that’s in or heart. When you see people changing their heart they aren’t really changing their heart but becoming more like what is already in their heart. Someone can have a really big heart and be a complete jerk and someone with a tiny heart can seem like a really great person on the outside. People who have only a seed of good in their hearts will be “the least in Heaven”. I think God smiles down on those with a lot of good in their hearts. As for Hell, if there is a Hell I believe it is reserved only for those with truly evil, dead hearts. People like Hitler, Manson, and others. For the rest of us, life is hard enough and many of us spend years in our own “Hell”. There is no need for any of us to spend an eternity being tortured and burned.

This is all what I believe anyway :)

And like the other comment before me says, I love you Jay Bakker!
