I destinctly remember your mom's sweet voice. Mike actually has some of her albums. She was such a loving woman. Its sad to see the good ones go. You have her heart Jamie (sorry), you always have. My mom would have been 62 in May. Last week was nine years since she past. It still breaks my heart. Thinking of you!

when I was a kid I had your mothers childrens records, at the time I thought it was kind of dumb becuse I was about being cynical & serios, but when I hit my twentys I thought the records were really cool, I could apreate the heart of them better, I did find it really facinating when she did the interview about her cancer that she could still be so optimistic! I admit I have also made fun of her at times exspeshelly when Jan crouch hit the scene but thank you for reminding me to look at the heart not the hype I too really enjoy self depercating humer, it's better to to get the jump on people before they can attack. have a good one & I just started following you on twitter, I found you through Andrew Marin

I think that's sort of what Jay was alluding to, yes.
As far as churches in the LA area... we aren't affiliated with any other church, and I can't really recommend a particular one. Let me ask and I'll try and get back to you soon. Thanks for stopping by to post your comments... and thanks for your continued support!

Thanks Paolo so much for putting the sermons online. I've been listening to the sermons every week from Los Angeles so I gathered that you are responsible for this. It is so refreshing to hear someone express and articulate what I think being Christian can be about. It challenges me, makes me think and really helps me grasp what living out love can look like. Are you guys associated with any Churches out here I could check out?

This sermon left me a little confused. Jay seems to be bringing up a point that Jesus came to show who he really is, is he trying to say the Old Testament is man's interpretation of God then which included killing women and children?
