I agree with your views on religion and people. Your speeches truly warm my heart.

Dear john, the main message of Jesus was love his condemnation was directed mainly at the religious leaders of his time. So relax with the turn or burn rhetoric and embrace Gods love its not that scary.

I loved the line about when the law is replaced for the love of God; it can be destructive.

I think we sometimes we all in the trap of just following the letter of the law, rather than doing what the laws were intended for, or even what is the right thing to do.

This is the problem with Christianity and many Christians today, they follow these words literally, and we sometimes miss the point about loving each as we would love ourselves.

Is it loving not to warn people that are going to experience God’s wrath for all eternity for their sin? Even when Jesus walked above ceremonial law, in love, He warned people. He warned people because He loved them and they were going the wrong way. He warned them to go their way and sin no more.

I just wanted to say hello to Jay and say how happy I am to see you are still doing what you did for me so many years ago in Arizona. I don’t know where I would’ve been without Revolution, and I’ll never forget that you will NOT accept the “generation X” label and that has stuck with me since. Here I am now 35 and still strong. Living in Prescott. Still took some years to shake the homeless, punkrock thing…well I won’t shed the punk rock thang…it’s in my blood, but you know what I mean.
