Shouldn’t the bible verse be Mathew 16 instead of 6?
Thoughts I had after hearing this one: What do you do, or is there anything one can do if you’ve already “held onto your life” and lost your soul/self?
Is becoming unhinged part of the process of gaining that back?

For me at least, it seems trying to “hold onto one’s life” and pretend nothing is wrong, like Jay mentioned at one point, can leave you so out of touch and divided from your “self” that you have no idea what the trauma or feelings that you might be carrying within yourself are, until finally you break and it all comes pouring out. Or maybe you don’t ever break, but is that any better?
