Hey Revolution,

First off, great sermon Vince it made me think about why marriage is broken. I got two things from this sermon. 1st that it is pretty crazy that we should turn Paul's words into law. Vince is right Paul wanted us to be free from the law so he would be completely shocked that we have turned his letters into law.
The 2nd thing I thought of was that even though the institution of sex and marriage is broken in our time doesn't mean it can't work. Since modern western culture has made marriage about love between two people instead of business transactions like in ancient times. The system today has good intentions and works if done properly. If the the two people in the relationship serve each other like Christ serves the church then it can work out. But in a culture where there is a rebid search and desire for sex, money and power; compassions and love is mostly forgotten. That is why I think the institution of marriage is broken. It has been corrupted by the ideals of the American dream. I mean if you can have two house's why can't you have two wives? It almost has reverted back to the ideals of ancient times but a little less blunt and cynical.
Those were my thoughts. I hope I didn't make myself look like an idiot.

Love and peace,
Chris
